Tonight we celebrated the creative talents of learning disabled and neurodiverse filmmakers at the D’Oscars Film Festival 2026.

This year’s official category winners are:

Best 90 Second Short:
🏆 Magic Box - directed by Dave Lojek (Poland)

Best Documentary Film:
🏆 Dr Alfred Cox - What a Life! by Matty Dennis, FilmAble (UK)

Best Drama Film:
🏆 Dignity - directed by Maria AL Zani (Scotland)

Best Music Film:

Best Animation:

Our Creative Cafe is happening next Wednesday on 14th October.

Are you looking for a relaxed, friendly space to get creative? Join us for our FREE art sessions where you can explore printing, sewing, painting, and journaling.

It’s all about trying new things, meeting new people, and enjoying a cuppa while you create.
