Its the start of a new week, a new month too. JUNE is blooming, there is so much going on in Blyth u3a and Blyth as a whole this month.

Keep an eye on the webpage and of course our monthly newsletter that is emailed to uou. This week has so many groups on, , from our Mens coffee morning on Monday, to Mahjong on Friday. . The highlight of the week is the Local History trip on Wednesday. So let's hope the sun keeps shining and you enjoy whatever your interest are.

Are we all getting a little excited..... this is the week we go on a trip to Knaresborough. So let's hope the sun is shining and we have a beautiful day.

What a busy week we have had, so many extras to our usual groups with a beetle drive and disco. Dont forget to check what trips you have signed up and if you still need to make any payments our monthly meeting is on Friday the 24th.

Our Spring edition of u3a matters is out. There are two excellent articles I can recommend, though there are many others.. One is about dance and how it is connected to our wellbeing (disco on the 16th April). The other article i enjoyed was our CEO explaining how we can be non -political yet discuss politics.

Happy Easter to all our members and their families. Remember Chocolate is a plant and therefore healthy. Also its a bank holiday on Monday so I wouldn't expect any groups to be on, but hopefully your group leader will have told you.

A few members of the u3a attended a session on AI at Blyth Library today. Not only was it a great session but it made the news on ITV.
