It was cold and damp, but we made it out today to plant our Field of Remembrance. This is something a little different from our usual Remembrance displays, and we hope you'll be able to visit Ridley Park and take a look.A huge thank you to the students of Bede Academy North, who helped write the names of those from WW1. We then added the names of our fallen from WW2 and later conflicts.A special thank you also to Janice, Pat, David and Joanie for all their hard work and support. It took four hours to complete, but seeing the finished display made every minute worthwhile. We hope we have included every name from Blyth. If you visit and notice a family name that should be there but isn't, please let us know so we can make sure a cross is added.
