We're excited to announce that we have a limited number of places available across our sections for young people looking to make new friends, learn new skills and enjoy amazing adventures!

🐿️ Squirrels (Ages 4-6)
🦫 Beavers (Ages 6-8)
🐺 Cubs (Ages 8-10)
🏕️ Scouts (Ages 10-14)

From campfires and outdoor adventures to water activities, climbing, games, teamwork and challenges, there's something for everyone. Scouting helps young people build confidence, develop skills for life and create memories that last a lifetime.

Places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't miss out!

A massive thankyou to all our volunteers who help deliver a brilliant Scouting programme each week. This is both those working directly with young people and our Trustees Board. A great team!

This week is Volunteers Week. As we look back on everything we have achieved together across Blackburn District Scouts, I want to take a moment to say a massive, heartfelt thank you to each and every one of our Scout Volunteers.

Scouting simply would not happen without your incredible dedication, energy, and enthusiasm. Whether you are a section leader planning weekly meetings, an assistant helping out, a young leader, a trustee, or someone supporting us behind the scenes, your efforts make a monumental difference.

Because of you, young people across Blackburn are gaining vital , building confidence, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Balancing your family, work, and personal commitments to show up for our community is inspiring, and we never take your generosity for granted.

A wonderful ALFRESCO AFTEROON TEA on SUNDAY 7th JUNE in the outdoors at Canalside Activity Centre. There will be two sittings. One at 2pm and one at 3pm

ADULT AFTERNOON TEA: Selection of 4 sandwiches selection of savouries ie pies, sausages and scotch eggs, scone with jam and cream, cream cake and tart or mini éclair. Flavoured tea or normal, coffee and/or orange/apple juice. All served on vintage tea sets. £15.00 per person (plus booking fee).

CHILD AFTERNOON TEA: 2 sandwich savouries, cake/ éclair and bag of sweets ie jelly beans for kids soft drink. All served on vintage tea sets. £8.00 per person (plus booking fee)
All funds raised will be used help buy a new ride on mower for the activity centre.

On Friday we visited Sterling Castle on our final trip of our Scotland 26 week if fun and adventure.

On Wednesday we enrolled 2 Scouts and 5 Explorers while we visited the Falkirk Wheel.
Hopefully an occasion to be remembered by our young people.
