A huge thank you to Canalside Activity and Environment Centre - Blackburn for kindly allowing us to use the site for today’s Adventure Day!

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to everyone from the local community and all the amazing volunteers who came along and supported us. Without your time, effort and enthusiasm, today’s event wouldn’t have been the success it was.

We hope you all had a fantastic day and enjoyed everything the event had to offer. We’re looking forward to seeing you all again at our future meetings and events!

Don’t forget, young people can join Beavers from ages 6–8, Cubs from ages 8–10, Scouts from ages 10–14 and Explorers from ages 14 - 18

We are hosting a FREE adventure day to show off what we get up to at Cherry Tree Woodlands Scout Group on Sunday 20th September!

Don’t worry if you can’t make it as you can always come along to our section meetings instead. Details are as follows:

Beavers and Cubs meet on a Tuesday

We are delighted to announce that our Holiday Club is available for the October Half Term.

Bowley Holiday Activity Days are a full day of indoor and outdoor adventure, led by experienced activity leaders in a safe, welcoming environment.

From team games and challenges to crafts and nature trails, every day is built around confidence, friendship, and trying something new.

Running from Monday 26th to Friday 30th October, sessions run from 9.30am - 3.30pm and are priced at £27.50 per session.

We are holding a FREE open event later this month and would be delighted if as many young people and parents would join us.

Every week, Scouts gives almost half a million young people aged 4–24 the opportunity to learn skills for life so why not come along and see what we get up to.

Last night our Cherry Tree Woodlands Scout Group leadership team from across all our groups got together at Canalside for an evening of pizza, planning and good company! 🍕🔥

We cooked pizzas outdoors at Canalside Activity and Environment Centre - Blackburn, but there was a lot more to the evening than just food. It was a really important opportunity for us to come together as a leadership team, plan our programmes, catch up on the latest news and information, and make sure we’re all working together to give our young people the best possible Scouting experience!

But just as importantly, it gave us time to step away from the planning, have a laugh, catch up with each other and simply enjoy being together and during the evening we realised something pretty special…

Between our leadership team, we have over 150 years of Scouting leadership experience! 😲👏

That’s more than a century of knowledge, experience, stories, skills and commitment being brought together for the benefit of our young people.
