This week is Volunteers’ Week 2026 and we would like to thank our incredible Cadet Forces Adult Volunteers!

Without them, we could not provide the experiences which help transform so many young people into resilient, confident and committed young adults!

This photo doesn’t capture the whole team but to everyone involved with TS Mohawk - we are grateful! 😀

Last night, TS Mohawk was delighted to welcome the Captain Sea Cadets, Captain Hannah MacKenzie VR RN! 😄

It was an enjoyable evening for all, with cadets given the opportunity to carry out their training alongside her and to network throughout the evening.

Thank you, Ma’am, for taking the time to visit us! It’s been a long time since we’ve had the pleasure of a Captain’s visit! 😀

EXCITING FUNDRAISING UPDATE! 📣

Here is a first peek at our new minibus made possible by generous donations over the last few years! This will enable a fully accessible transport option to our cadets 😄

It is currently in the final stages of its build and due to arrive in the coming weeks! 🚌

We’re now looking for supporters to help fund the signwriting on the bus - a key part in advertising our unit and making us more visible in the community.

Do you know any individuals or businesses that could would like to donate towards this next step, or help with ongoing costs such as Section 19 permits?

Support packages include:

£100 - A personalised social media thank you!
£250 - A named supporter certificate and social media post.
£500 - An invite to the bus launch.
£750 - Business included as a named supporter within the sign writing!

Smaller, more personal supporter options will also be available in the coming days, so watch this space! 😀
