🎨🧽 Hands-on hygiene, secret codes, and radio comms! Another action-packed week at Immanuel Feniscowles Scouts! 📻✨
Our Beavers and Cubs turned into junior scientists this week to master the ultimate camp skill: Food Hygiene! 🧑🍳
First, we put paint on our hands to put our washing techniques to the test—seeing exactly which spots get missed! Then, we mixed up dough with a twist: adding glitter to see just how quickly "germs" and allergens spread through cross-contamination. It was a messy, fun way to learn why clean hands and safe cooking matter—especially when we’re prepping meals out on camp! ⛺🌭
Meanwhile, over at the Scout section, things went high-tech (and low-tech!). Our Scouts tackled the NATO Phonetic Alphabet and Morse Code, putting their new skills to work with real radios and flashlights.
🔦📡 From decoding signal flashes to sending clear radio messages across the room, they proved that clear communication is an absolute superpower.
Whether it's learning allergy safety or mastering emergency comms, Scouting builds real skills for life—all while having a total blast! 🌟
