We have almost 11,000 friends and followers supporting our page, and tonight we come to you with some honesty, and a HUGE ask for help.
What many still don’t know is that we are a SELF-FUNDED branch of the RSPCA and a charity in our own right.
We work tirelessly to raise enough funds to keep us going day to day. We have to find £500,000 a year to cover our running costs. This is huge. And we are struggling to carry on.
We’re coming to you with a big plea for help- and that’s to keep us going into 2027.
Which is why we are launching our Winter Wish appeal to fundraise and help make that happen.
We became the RSPCA Thanet Branch in 1962. If we have helped you in any way since that time; perhaps you have re-homed an animal from us, we have come and scanned a stray cat living in your garden, relocated a fallen bird from a nest, given you advice over the phone or even supported you when you’ve had to make the decision to surrender your animal then WE NOW NEED YOU.
Even if you can only spare £1, please please pledge to our appeal.
