The RSPCA Little Valley Shop in Bideford prides itself on selling quality items at great prices.

It has a loyal team of volunteers helping to run the shop and is managed by Claire and Lynne. We specialise in vintage homewares and clothing, when donations allow. Or pop in and check out our craft area and pet corner. If you would like to become an Animal Hero we always welcome new volunteers to our team

We are one of six shops raising funds for the Devon Branch of the RSPCA, Little Valley Anim

al Shelter located on the outskirts of Exeter. The Shelter, founded in 1991, supports the work of local RSPCA inspectors by caring for and rehoming over 1000 of the neediest animals from our local area every year. Little Valley costs in the region of £10,000 a week to run and receives no funding from the RSPCA National Society toward the day to day running costs, this all has to be met from local fundraising which is why your support is essential to us. 🐾 Join Our Animal Care Team 🐾

Every day at Little Valley Animal Shelter, our team helps animals recover, rebuild their confidence and find loving new homes.

We're looking for an Animal Care Assistant to join us on a full-time basis and help provide outstanding care for the dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and other animals that rely on us.

This is a rewarding, hands-on role for someone with animal care experience, a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for animal welfare.

📍 Exeter
⏰ Full Time, 37.5 hours per week (rota basis)
💷 £13.23 per hour

Beautiful Batfink is a year and 6 months old. He is a sweet but sensitive boy that is finding the cattery scary currently but is slowly coming out for well known carers and showing he is a friendly boy that likes some gentle fuss and has the cutest miaow! He will need a home that his new owners give him the time and patience he needs to truly come out of his shell. His new home would have no other animals and potentially a sensible teenager. He would enjoy a home that is semi rural so he can explore the outside world at a calmer pace
