Today Bideford Rotary celebrated its 101st Charter Birthday and the celebrations would not be complete without our giving out our Citizens of the Year Awards 2026.

We were thrilled to announce Sonia Cox as our Citizen of the Year for her amazing work in the community but especially her 29 trips with the Children’s Holiday Foundation North Devon

The Youth Citizen of the Year was presented to James Letham-Gent from Bideford College for his wonderful commitment to helping within the community, his proactive involvement with sport, public speaking and Duke of Edinburgh awards to name but a few.
Huge congratulations to you both.
