A collection books were donated to Bideford by Richard Pearse Chope - an avid antiquarian, a diligent data collector and lover of curiosities - in 1938. Libraries Unlimited and dBs Pro are running a project with young people from the area, to reignite interest in these old books by using creative technology and resulting in an exciting, interactive experience based in the library.

They've selected 10 and are asking people from the area to help them narrow the selection down to three - can you help?!

Thanks to those who funked their stuff with us in Cambridge City Centre as part of Outdoor Arts UK Conference 2026. Radical Joy was the slogan of the day. People today often see disco from the 1970s as frothy and frivolous. But Disco was in fact a radically joyous expression of togetherness in a world fraught by political and social polarisation. Thanks to everyone who turned up to the launch of our exhibition of photos, an outcome of a creative project bringing together a bunch of brilliant women from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. The photos can be seen in the foyer of Barnstaple Library and are up until 16th January.

Thanks to the ladies for taking part, to the North Devon Coast National Landscapes for the commission and for marvellous work from social activator Rose Young French and photographer Olga Vynnyk.
