Have you seen the Bewdley Festival Tapestries around the town? There are 3 at Wribbenhall Parish Rooms that are 28 years old and 3 at St George’s Hall that are 20 years old which were made to celebrate the completion of the town side flood defences. They were the brainchild of Cynthia Pearson who was the Visual Arts Director of the Bewdley Festival and she encouraged people in Bewdley to create small felt figures to represent themselves and be part of the project.
