Meet Jack and Mathew – A Golden Oldie Duo Looking for Their Retirement Home
Sometimes, a bond is simply too special to break. Meet Jack, our lovely Lurcher, and Mathew, our adorable Staffy cross, two best friends who are hoping someone will open their heart and home to them both. 🐾
Mathew has sadly found himself back in rescue following an unfortunate change in his family’s circumstances. After seven years in a home together, he and his lifelong friend Jack are now looking for a fresh start — and we are looking to find them a home where they can stay together.
Both boys are 10 years old and have been inseparable since they were just three. They are now in their golden years, and what we would love most for them is a peaceful retirement home where they can enjoy the comfort, love and security they deserve.
🌟 These two really are little superstars! 🌟
They are still under assessment, but so far they have been walking reasonably well on the lead. They can get a little excited when they spot other dogs out and about, but nothing too daft! We are continuing to get to know them and learn more about their individual personalities.
We know that finding a home for two dogs can be more challenging, especially when they are older, but Jack and Mathew have shared so much of their lives together. Their friendship is precious, and we would love to see them enjoy their retirement side by side.

I really have to give this rescue 10/10 for the time and effor and love they put into the lovely write ups for Lenny, lets hope they are able to do one saying he has gone to a new 🏡 very soon.

We are mother and daughter, and as you can imagine, we are incredibly close. I am the darker girl Skye and I am 10 years old, and I am Sasha, the lighter girl I am 6. Our carers tell us what lovely girls we are, and we really do have so much love to give.

Dear Supporters,
Our names are Skye and Sasha, and we have a very special bond that we hope someone out there will understand.
We are mother and daughter, and as you can imagine, we are incredibly close. Skye, the darker girl, is 10 years old, and Sasha, the lighter girl, is 6. Our carers tell us what lovely girls we are, and we really do have so much love to give.
We adore being around people, soaking up attention and enjoying our walks (we walk lovely on the lead too!) . We are a sweet, loving pair who simply want a home where we can feel safe, cherished and, most importantly, stay together.
We know asking for a home for two dogs is a big ask. We understand that finding someone willing to open their heart and home to both of us may take a little longer, but we cannot imagine life without each other.
Please don't let the fact that there are two of us mean we are overlooked.
We are looking for someone who can see beyond the extra commitment and recognise the beautiful reward that comes with giving two deserving girls a second chance.
If you have room in your home and your heart for us both, we promise to fill it with twice the love, twice the companionship and twice the happiness.

Following the very sad and unexpected passing of one of the rescues adopters they are urgently looking for a foster or (preferably) forever 🏡 for the ladies beloved greyhound Frankie. (look at that dear little face ❤️

Following the very sad and unexpected passing of one of our adopters, we are urgently looking for a foster or (preferably) forever home for her beloved greyhound Frankie.

This gorgeous girl is in desperate need of a safe and loving home. This is what her adopter's family have to say about her:

"Frankie is 9 years old and has no medical conditions or medication from the vets.

Temperament is sweet. She's very friendly and likes both people and dogs but especially enjoys being with her owner. She's very happy and gets excited when its time for walkies, doing little circles and skips.

Her favourite walks are on the beach and green spaces. She's lazy otherwise and enjoys both the sofa and her bed. She will sleep on your bed or her own or the sofa, just circles and snoozes.

Always been good with dog savvy children , all adults and other dogs. No to cats or small furries.

She likes cuddles and will lick your face if you let her.

She used to have a beach run every day and a walk in the evening but in the last 6 months mum cut this down to one walk a day. She doesn't pester for walks but gets excited when you get the lead out.

When she's lazing on the sofa she doesnt want to get off for a wee in the garden. House trained and good with a normal visitors but with a packed houseful yesterday I saw signs of panting.

She had a lot of dental work done this year but hasn't had any other medical interventions .

She has a corn on one paw which we don't notice on soft ground but sometimes do on hard ground
Her brother had lots of corns and surgeries to no effect so mum hasn't gone down that route with Frankie.

She has been known to enjoy a sneaky titbit or treat in the evening when Mum settles down with quiz shows and tea and toast!"
