The Cubs Greener Living Event in the first week of SustFest was a great success. 180 Cubs, Leaders and parents were there and learnt about how to be more sustainable, recycle, repair, reduce, compost , be kinder to animals and clear litter. The Planet Medics were on hand to highlight some of the threats to our planet in a very entertaining and engaging way.

What a great event today, the start of Bewdley River Festival and Sustfest headline event for Bewdley. "We Sing the Rivers Voice" was an amazing performance with youngsters from Bewdley Primary, St Anne's Primary and the Academy of Vocal Music joining the Pop Up Community Choir. Performance Poet Sipho Eric Ndlovu added another dimension to the Performance. The pews of St. Annes Church were filled with people enjoying the Performance and pledging to take better care of the river.

Come rain, hail or shine, we all need cake.....and a good plant sale. Many more plants expected.
Visit 21 Stourport Road on Saturday for the Open Garden from 10am-5pm.

All proceeds to the Nightstop charity for young homeless people.

Did you know we have schools within the Wyre Forest taking part in SustFest 2026?

Offmore Primary School will be actioning a walk/ bike or scoot to school week, litter picking, hosting a preloved uniform sale, monitoring birds and running a gardening club

will be working with their eco committee to help run and organise litter picking, bird watching, wildflower planting and a book swap
