Myth Busting Monday
Myth: Food poverty only affects people who are unemployed.
Fact: Millions of people experiencing poverty live in working households.
Low pay, insecure employment, part time work, rising housing costs and increasing household bills mean that having a job does not always protect people from hardship.
Work should provide financial security, but for many families it simply is not enough.
Tackling food poverty means tackling in work poverty too.
