YMCA is a youth and community charity, supporting young people to belong, contribute and thrive in their communities.

All profits raised at our charity shop go towards its work. We sell everything from clothing and games to electrical goods and more. YMCA focuses on four key areas of work: accommodation, family work, health & wellbeing and training & education, with a fifth area concentrating on support and advice. We raise funds to support these young people in various areas mainly through our 100 charity shops throughout the UK.

A cuppa, a slice of cake and a little time for each other. ☕🍰💜

Our colleagues at YMCA recently came together for a Tea Talk as part of YMCA’s Small Talks campaign, making time to catch up, check in and listen.

Across our local community, we know how much everyday conversations matter. From familiar faces to someone popping in for the first time, a friendly chat can help us feel more connected.

You don’t need all the answers to be there for someone. Sometimes, it starts with asking how they are and taking the time to listen.

Who could you make time for a cuppa with this week? 💬
