The room is a 15m2, will come with some furniture and enough room for 2 or 3 people. The cost of the space is £2560 per annum, and includes service charges. The only utility not included is Internet, if internet is required then it is the tenant own responsibility to arrange this.

You will have use of the fully functioning kitchen and access 24 hours a day should this be required.

What's available in the larder tomorrow? Open 10am until 12pm

Here is the shopping list of some of the items that you can get with your £2 minimum donation. The Berwick upon Tweed Community Larder is run completely on donations of surplus foods from supermarkets and produce that we buy with your donations, the more donations we receive the better the offering when the larder is open.

It is that time of the week again folks, shopping lists at the ready for the larder tomorrow. here is some of what we have available for tomorrow. Larder open from 10am until 12pm.

£2 minimum donation and you get to pick up to 10 items from our shelves. The larder is available to very single household, so please don't be put of by thinking it is just for those with low income. It is low cost for all households.

Produce is from our regular Fareshare delivery along with surplus produce from Aldi and items that we purchase with your donations.

We suggest arriving from 9.55 as we have a busy reception area.

Lots of surplus food at Soul Kitchen - Berwick today, one of the many organisations that collect surplus stock from supermarkets. call in to 103 Marygate and get something!!

Well our amazing volunteers have intercepted a LOT of surplus food folks just like they have been for the past decade! We especially have a lot of bakery; loafs, pastries, rolls and baguettes plus sweet treats too.

There is veggies, tatties, fresh herbs 🌿 and it all needs one more thing - YOU!

Our mission is nothing unless the good people of Berwick come and save this food from being needlessly wasted. Right now all this could be prepped / used quickly or frozen.

Please pop by 103 Marygate today and grab yourself something or a few bits to share with friends or your neighbours. Without you then this food isn't really saved yet - so spread the word food waste warriors and come grab a loaf or two!

In short it is available for every single household to use if they want to, it is a simple way to provide low cost shopping and saving items from going to landfill.

Berwick upon Tweed Community Larder is currently negotiating the mass of surplus food that has been collected from Lidl and Aldi. Everything from Bread and Pastries to trays of peaches, pineapples, bananas and tomatoes to name a few.

Larder opens at 4.00pm today. Minimum donation is £2.

Come along between 10 and 12 tomorrow, bring a minimum of £2 for up to 10 items. ALL fruit and Veg are extra and not included in your 10 items.

If anyone is requiring food support, then please get your requests in today for collection either this afternoon or tomorrow.
