🎹 Planning to attend the Ruth Ascher Piano Masterclass? Here’s what you need to know!

The morning session (10:00am–1:00pm) will take place in the smaller recital room, which has limited seating for approximately 70 people. Everyone is welcome to attend, but we recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment.

🍽️ Lunch arrangements: Please note that food will not be provided during the lunch break (1:00pm–2:00pm). The Bowyer Arms pub is located in Radley, near the railway station, and Peachcroft Shopping Centre in Abingdon is just a five-minute drive away.

🎶 Afternoon session: The masterclass will continue in the concert hall from 2:00pm–4:00pm.

Answer: Alan Menken (and Howard Ashman!)

🌍 If you could attend a concert anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Answer: Back in time to see Whitney Houston perform live at Madison Square Garden! But Fleetwood Mac are a close second. 🎤

😁 What’s one thing that always makes you smile at work?
Answer: Our fabulous Young Pianist of the Month recipients!

🎶 What song or composition would you choose as the soundtrack to your life?
Answer: Fine Line by Harry Styles (specifically from 4:37 onwards 👀🎧 IYKYK).

Answer: Vaughan Williams' Pastoral Symphony feels like the soundtrack to my life as it captures the beauty and tranquillity of the English countryside that means so much to me.
