🌸 We are so looking forward to welcoming everyone to our Village Open Gardens tomorrow! 🌿

The gardens are ready, the sun looks like it's going to make an appearance, and our little café is all set to welcome you in for tea, cake, and a spot of shopping.

Come along, take a gentle stroll through some truly beautiful spaces, and enjoy a lovely day out with your neighbours and friends. It's going to be a wonderful day — we hope to see you there!

We're thrilled to be selling our handmade creations at the Open Gardens event this Sunday to raise money for our summer party! 🎉
Our young crafters have been working so hard to create:
🐸 Flower frogs (as seen at the Chelsea Flower Show!)

Come along and support these amazing young entrepreneurs — you might even get to meet the artists themselves! 😊

🌸 **We Need YOU – Stevington Open Gardens Volunteers!** 🌸

Only 3 weeks to go until our **Stevington Open Gardens** event on **Sunday 7th June** – and we still need more volunteers to help make it a success!

Can you spare a couple of hours? We're looking for help with:

🚗 Car parking
📋 Registration at the Church Room
☕ Teas and coffees
🌱 Plant stall
🎉 Tombola

As a thank you, every volunteer will receive a **free ticket** to enjoy the gardens for the rest of the day – it's a wonderful event and we'd love for you to experience it too!

Can't volunteer on the day but still want to help? Here's how:

🎁 **Tombola prizes** – tins, toiletries, sweets, or anything similar would be gratefully received. Just drop them into the **box in the local shop**.

🎂 **Bake a cake!** – Home-baked cakes are always a huge hit. You can either drop them off in advance (from 26th May) to **Tricia** to be frozen , or bring them along on the morning of the event between **10–11am on 7th June**. Please remember to **include a list of ingredients** with your bake for allergy purposes.

Your support will make a real difference to our fundraising for the **Church Room Community Hub**.

A series of arts and crafts sessions by local enthusiast

Our next session is being run by the very talented Jacky Gooding, you may recognise her work from the Stevington Natural History book.

Come and immerse yourself in the details of a flower or sprig of leaves. A quiet, contemplative afternoon with cake.

When: 16th May 1.00 - 4.00pm
Where: Stevington Church Room Community Hub
Who: This session is aimed at adults Cost: £10 incl. refreshments

The Tuesday evening exercise class have been a huge success and will be continuing for the rest of 2026.
Dates are as follows
May 5th, 12th, 19th June 2nd, 9th,16th, 23rd, 30th July 7th, 21st, 28th
August 4, 11th, 18th, 25th September 8th, 15th, 22nd , 29th October 6th, 13th, 20th, November 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th December 1st, 8th, 15th

There are a few limited spaces left available if you wish to join, please see contact details at the end of the post.

The class is hosted by Jane Richardson, an experienced practitioner with an outstanding reputation for fun and well-being.

Exercise which focuses on strength, cardio, stamina, flexibility and balance.

No previous experience necessary.

Exercises cover whole body and adaptations are provided.
