£15,000 of community fundraising, now supporting people affected by cancer. 💜
We’re proud to announce that Ampthill vs Cancer is awarding a £15,000 grant to Keech Hospice fully funding 11 weeks of its Friday Cancer Drop-In Group at the Living Well Centre in Bedford.
The group costs almost £70,000 a year to run and supports people at every stage of cancer, from diagnosis and treatment through to remission and beyond.
It offers nurse-led advice, connection with others who understand and access to further support when needed. Because cancer can be incredibly lonely, having somewhere to talk and feel understood really matters.
This is exactly what AVC set out to do: turn the money raised by our community into real support for people affected by cancer.
