⚠️ Ketamine can cause serious and lasting harm.

Ketamine has been identified as an emerging substance use trend in Moray, particularly among younger people.

Regular use can cause serious damage to the bladder and urinary system, and the risks increase when ketamine is taken in high doses or alongside other drugs.

The issue was highlighted at last week’s Moray Integration Joint Board meeting, where the Moray Alcohol & Drug Partnership annual report was presented. The report also sets out the wider work underway to prevent drug-related deaths and reduce harm in Moray.
