1st Beaumaris Sea Scouts

What a weekend.
We took our Cubs and Scouts to the Clogwen Centre in Bangor for two days and nights of fun and activities.

The weather was determined to persist but didn't dampen our spirits.

We managed a bike ride and nature train through Penrhyn forest, a scavenger hunt through Bangor, camp fire songs, a short fishing trip on Bangor pier, and geocasheing to round off the weekend. Im sure there's more I've forgotten, but we're all a little tired after the weekend.
Looking forward to getting back to the weekly meeting on Tuesday and Friday.

Thank you to Mersey Weaver Scout Group for the use of the centre and equipment.

On Friday our Scouts welcomed Gareth.
Gareth came down to help our Scouts make a traditional 3 legged stool. While we only made 2 during the session he has vowed to help each of our Scouts to craft their own stools.

Thank you Gareth for lending us your skill, knowledge and tools. We're looking forward to each having our own personal stools.
