🥟🍲 Another week, another delicious cooking session!
This week, our participants rolled up their sleeves to prepare homemade dumplings and warming soup, enjoying the opportunity to learn new recipes, develop practical skills and share the experience together.
At Fellowship Educational Society, our cooking sessions are about more than food. They bring people together, encourage confidence and create lasting connections within our community.

🌙🍳 WEEK 4 | EVENING COOKING SESSION

The kitchen came alive again for another evening of cooking, learning and connection! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳✨

Our Week 4 evening session brought participants together to develop their cooking skills, exchange experiences and enjoy the satisfaction of creating delicious food as a team. Every session is an opportunity to learn something new, grow in confidence and build meaningful connections in a welcoming environment. 💙

Delivered in support of Dialogue Society Oxford this project is about more than cooking — it’s about bringing people together, sharing experiences and building stronger connections through the universal language of food. 🤝🥘

🥘 Week 3 of our cooking programme!

There’s something special about bringing people together around a shared table. This week, our participants cooked, chatted, exchanged ideas and enjoyed the pleasure of making something together.

What starts in the kitchen often becomes much more — new connections, greater confidence and a stronger sense of belonging. ❤️

We are pleased to deliver this programme in partnership with Dialogue Society Oxford, creating a welcoming space where people from different backgrounds can come together through food.

🍲✨ Cooking, Community & Connection in the heart of Oxford! 💛

Our latest cooking session was another wonderful opportunity to bring people together through food, friendship and shared experiences. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Delivered in partnership with Dialogue Society Oxford, with support from The National Lottery Community Fund, our cooking classes are about much more than learning new recipes. They create a welcoming space where people can meet, share cultures, build confidence and feel connected to their community. 🌍🤝

Every recipe has a story, and every table brings people a little closer. From preparing delicious dishes together to sharing conversations and laughter, each session has its own special flavour. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, our wonderful volunteers and our partners for making these sessions possible.

Fellowship Educational Society is bringing A Taste of Türkiye to Woodley this Saturday.

Join us for an afternoon of authentic Turkish cuisine, desserts, family activities and community spirit, all while supporting our charity projects.

Enjoy Turkish Köfte, Lahmacun, Chicken Tantuni, Çiğ Köfte, Börek, waffles, tiramisu, éclairs, cookies, candy floss, desserts and savouries, plus face painting and activities for children.

❤️ All proceeds will go towards Fellowship Educational Society’s charity projects.

Yesterday, we welcomed a wonderful new group for our final cohort of cooking classes, delivered in partnership with Dialogue Society Oxford, with support from the The National Lottery Community Fund

It was a lovely day of cooking, sharing, meeting new people and building connections through food. 🥘🤝

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the session so special. It was great to see new faces coming together, learning from one another and enjoying the experience.

We’re proud of what we’ve created through these cooking sessions and grateful to our partners and the Community Fund for making them possible. ❤️

In our Cooking Class, we prepared a delicious chocolate cake, a delightful treat for warm summer days.

After completing our recipe, we gathered around the table to enjoy the cake over a cup of tea and pleasant conversation, creating a lovely opportunity to share, connect, and spend meaningful time together.

A simple recipe, a shared table, and warm conversations made the experience all the more special.

As part of our cooking class, participants prepared traditional Turkish açma with olive and cheese fillings. The session provided an opportunity not only to learn a new recipe and practise baking techniques, but also to exchange ideas and experiences about different food cultures and culinary traditions.

Following the preparation, participants enjoyed tasting the freshly baked açma accompanied by Turkish tea. The positive feedback and enthusiasm to recreate the recipe at home reflected the success of this enjoyable and interactive session.

We were pleased to bring participants together through a shared interest in food, culture, and learning.
