Professor James Small, a scholar-activist and former Africana Studies instructor at City College of New York, made provocative remarks about racial superiority.

In the statement, Small declared: “Black men are superior to them [white men]. Put us on any playing field, be it physics or football, and we will win. Give us the same opportunities and we will win.”

Small is known for his work in Pan-African studies, organizational consulting, and activism tied to groups like the Organization of Afro-American Unity.

16/5/2026😃 Many thanks to those who turned out to attend the BSI Social & Networking event last week. It was a memorable occasion with wonderful speeches from local MP Luke Murphy, ward councillors, entrepreneurs, community leaders and young people 👏

In the wake of the local elections, there was a stong message from local politicians and community leaders about the need for communities from all backgrounds to remain united against the forces that are trying to divide us 👊 ⚖️ 👊

It was also inspiring having leaders from community organisations, Black History South (Southampton) and the Cultural Forum (Andover) deliver presentations which was inspiring. It was really nice during the "Open Mic"🎤 part of the Programme to see a number of young people present, come up and present their stories and ambitions 😀🎤🔥

The catering by Da Spottt Caribbean Catering was delicious and well received 🫒🍲🫒as well as the music 🎶 which created a good relaxed social atmosphere 👄🎙😀

The event also helped to build the BSI brand in the community and engage the audience of nearly 50 people with our economic empowerment work in the Black community and acheivements in education, mentoring, promoting businesses and community engagement💰👊 🤑

IShowSpeed just pulled off a nearly 24-hour marathon stream across five Caribbean countries in one run. While most people his age are figuring out college, this kid is out here turning the entire planet into his content playground. Six continents down, 20 African countries knocked out in 28 days, and he's not even close to slowing down.

Here's where it gets wild though. Speed claims he can finish visiting every single country on Earth within the next 2-3 years. That's not just ambitious, that's mathematically insane when you factor in visas, logistics, and the fact that some places don't exactly roll out the red carpet for loud American streamers. But honestly, looking at his track record, maybe don't bet against him.

The real kicker? Once he checks off that final country, his next milestone is livestreaming from actual space. Yeah, space. Like orbit-around-Earth space. It sounds completely unhinged until you remember this is the same generation that turned TikTok dances into million-dollar careers and made NFTs a thing. At this point, a SpaceX collab stream might just be the logical next step for internet culture.
