BATS is a self-funded, not-for-profit organisation that is run by volunteers who share a passion for musical theatre – whether on-stage or working behind the scenes. The Society does not receive any form of ongoing

financial support to subsidise running costs or to assist with the cost of staging productions. Instead, BATS relies on the ticket sales and programme sales from its strong following of loyal audience members from Basingstoke and the surrounding areas to remain operationally viable.

The wait is over! We’re delighted to reveal the cast for our upcoming production of ’Allo ’Allo! 🇫🇷

A huge thank you to everyone who auditioned. We were blown away by the talent on display and can’t wait to bring this classic comedy to the stage. Congratulations to our wonderful cast - we can’t wait to get started!

We’re delighted to reveal the first names joining the cast of our upcoming production of Calendar Girls.

Congratulations to those who were successful, and heartfelt commiserations to those who were unsuccessful this time.

The standard was incredibly high, and our panel had some very difficult decisions to make. Thank you to everyone who auditioned 💛

We may not have won but being named finalists at the ‘A Place to be Proud Of’ Awards was an absolute honour. To be recognised for the impact of our community engagement projects makes everyone at BATS incredibly proud. 💙

Congratulations to all the finalists and winners - you truly make our community a better place. 👏🏻

The evening left us feeling inspired and even more determined to keep making a difference. Keep an eye out for updates on our upcoming ‘Calendar Girls’ project!

A special highlight was seeing our very own BATS member Hiro deservedly win the Unsung Hero Award. We couldn’t be prouder of him and everything he does for others. 🏆

A quick reminder for anyone still planning to audition for our upcoming production of Calendar Girls - the deadline to submit your audition form is 11:59 PM tonight ⏰

Please remember that to audition for the show you must be aged 18+ and a member of the society, with the exception of three teenage roles available for ages 16–18.
