Basingstoke Music and Arts Festival was established in 1963 and is organised annually by a small group of dedicated volunteers.

Don’t forget, if you scored 87 marks or more in a solo class at our 2026 festival you can apply for our Grant! More details including the criteria can be found on our website.
Applications must be completed by 1st May.

LOST PROPERTY!
We have a few items of lost property from across the festival including water bottles, phone charger leads and more. If you lost anything at the festival please message, and if we have it we can arrange collection 😊

That's a wrap on BMAF 2026!

Our 2026 festival was an unforgettable experience, thanks to our talented performers and dedicated committee members. We're grateful for our volunteers, whose tireless efforts have made BMAF the event it is today.

We're always looking to expand our team and welcome new volunteers. If you're passionate about music and want to be part of our journey, get in touch - we'd love to have you on board 🎶🎶

What an amazing few weekends we have had, with various performers and many many instruments!

We couldn’t be prouder of each of our entrants and what they have achieved across the festival this year.

To celebrate them we have invited some of our highest scorers and adjudicator’s choice award receivers to come and perform tomorrow at our Gala Awards Ceremony and Concert.

Everyone is invited to watch and entry is FREE, though as a charity your donations help us to fund the festival each year, we ask that if you can to please donate.

Please come along to watch some amazing performances, it will certainly be worth it! 🎻🎺🎤🎉🎶
