Goxhill & surrounding villages, Christmas Hampers

Goxhill & surrounding villages, Christmas Hampers A none-profit organisation who put together basic Food Hampers, at Christmas, for those in need.

24/04/2026

Would any of our lovely supporters and followers be interested in attending a Halloween 👻 themed Afternoon Tea which will be suitable for children to attend too.

This is purely to raise money for this years Christmas Hampers as we feel in a position to attempt to try with fundraising.

Monies raised from this would help us with doing the 2026 Christmas Hampers 🥰

We will sadly be unable to cater for allergies/dietary requirements as this is in aid of raising funds, it sadly wouldn’t be possible.

We are looking at charging ÂŁ15 per person with children 10 years and under being ÂŁ10 each.

There will a selection of finger sandwiches, crisps and mini cakes per person, plus a scone with clotted cream and jam per adult. Children will have unlimited squash and adults will have unlimited tea/coffee.

Please comment below if you would be interested in attending a Halloween themed afternoon tea and keep your eyes peeled for when a limited amount of tickets go on sale, very soon 😊

Just to add that both myself and my daughter who will be the only ones preparing the food, hold a food hygiene certificate which will be displayed on the day of the afternoon tea.

Our books are now closed for hamper requests. Thank you for supporting our families in need for another year. We couldn’t do this without all of the generosity and kindness you all share. This year we helped 132 families in total, well over 500 people, with over 300 children receiving a selection box. The last hamper was bought and delivered yesterday, to a very grateful lady.
I cannot tell you how grateful the families that received a hamper are. A weeks worth of food may not seem a lot, but for those we help, it’s a lifeline, it says someone cares about you and it says you live in a caring community and the families we help need to hear that.

We would like to wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year. ❤️

Our bank account is open all year round for donations.

It’s really nice when all of our efforts and everyone’s donations are appreciated. Although we don’t do the hampers for praise, it is nice to get the occasional “thank you” message. ❤️❤️
We received this email, copied and pasted below.

Good morning,

I just wanted to express our thanks for the fabulous looking hampers for all three of our schools (East Halton, Goxhill and New Holland). They will be gratefully received from our families. Thank you for taking the time and effort to source and put them together. It truly is a wonderful thing and will help so many families in the area.

Thank you again.

Warmest regards,

Laurie Bennett

We are coming close to the end of this years hamper drive. We have already delivered to Goxhill and Barrow residents ( although we still have a couple more to deliver in Goxhill). We have delivered to 6 primary schools in the area, including East Halton, Goxhill and New Holland Schools. We have been working at a fantastic pace this year, being super organised and getting through the sorting, packing and delivering at a super speed.
We still have Killingholme school to deliver to and residents in Goxhill, New Holland, Ulceby etc.
We have had 3 late requests for a hamper today, pushing our hamper total to 125 families helped so far this year, our biggest total since we began the hampers. This is all possible because of your kindness and generosity. With your help, we will have helped to feed over 500 people in this area, and that is a bitter-sweet pill for us, but we absolutely couldn’t do this without your donations and help and for that we are truly grateful. We wish that people didn’t have to suffer from food poverty, we wish children didn’t have to go to bed hungry, we have all done our best to make those families know that they are cared about in our communities. We know that those that receive a hamper are extremely grateful.
We still have some shopping to do tomorrow morning, and possibly beyond that, we will still be packing and delivering tomorrow (up until I have to go to the dentist because of a cracked back tooth!) and the rest of the week. If you are waiting on a hamper, we will be getting them delivered to you in the next few days.
If you would like to make a donation our details are below. ❤️❤️❤️
