Dust off your cowboy boots and hat! Join us at the Tankersley Community Hub for a fantastic Country Music Night, featuring live line dancing instruction led by the amazing Shawny-Leighs Parties & Events!
Whether you're a seasoned dancer or stepping out for the very first time, it’s going to be an unforgettable evening packed with great tunes, line dancing, and brilliant community fun.

🎃 Spooky Season is Just Around the Corner! 👻
Get your costumes ready because we are thrilled to announce our two upcoming Halloween events on the weekend of October 24th! Whether you want to dance the night away or enjoy some afternoon spooky fun, we have something for everyone.
🦇 Event Lineup
👻Family Halloween Disco
When: Saturday night | 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
What: Our very first family Halloween disco! Come along for a spooktacular evening of music and dancing for all ages.
🧛🏻Children’s Halloween Party
When: Sunday afternoon | 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
What: Our ever-popular, classic children's Halloween party packed with fun activities and games.

Adults: £3.00 each
Children: £2.00 each
Important Note: All children must be supervised at all times by their accompanying adult during both events.

Looking for your first step into work, or hoping to build up your customer service experience? The Tankersley Community Association is looking for an enthusiastic Event Bar Assistant to join our team!

Role: Paid, part-time/casual hours (evenings and weekends for community events).

Training: Full training provided—no prior experience needed.

What we’re looking for: A friendly, reliable attitude and a willingness to learn.

Note: Because this role involves serving alcohol, applicants must be at least 16 years old to comply with licensing laws (supervision and full training will be provided for younger team members).

Get ready for an incredible afternoon filled with fantastic live brass music, glorious local surroundings, and—of course—delicious, freshly prepared cream teas.

Where: The Community Hub Field
What to expect: Live brass band music, wonderful company, and cream teas!
Getting Here & Parking
To ensure everything runs smoothly and to be mindful of our wonderful neighbours, please be respectful when parking in the surrounding area. If you live nearby, we’d love for you to walk down if you are able—it’s a great way to start the afternoon!
Grab your friends and family, bring a blanket or a lawn chair to settle in, and we will see you on the field this weekend!

Tip: Arrive a little early to grab your spot and your cream tea before the music starts!

Enjoy a classic British summer afternoon with uplifting live music from a brass band and delicious freshly baked cream teas! Bring your family, friends, and a picnic blanket or folding chair. Hosted in association with Tankersley St. Peter’s Church—everyone is welcome!
