Join Royston Friends Association for an afternoon of fun and lots of different craft activities at Manor Court Community Centre.

🕐 1pm–3pm
📍 Manor Court Community Centre

All children must be accompanied by an adult. FREE drinks and snacks provided.

Happy Friday everyone 😊

We have another busy day today at Manor Court Community Centre with Royston Friends Association.

Royston Good Food Pantry is open this morning from 10.00am–11.30am and is available to all Royston residents.

Thanks to the generous support of Food Aware CIC, Royston Co-op, FareShare and Barnsley Council there is a great selection of food and personal care items available.

We’re also offering a Warm Welcome Space with free hot drinks and snacks, so feel free to pop in and say hello.

Then this afternoon, from 1.30pm–3.00pm, join us for our Adult’s Bring Your Own Crafter-Noon. Bring your own craft project and spend a lovely, relaxing afternoon crafting and chatting with like minded people.

We’d love to see you there 💛

A huge congratulations to Mapplewell and Staincross Village Hall and Rachel Mallon on the success of their very first Repair Cafe.

It was fantastic to see so many people coming along to with items to repair, helping to save things from landfill, share skills and bring the community together.

Events like these show the power of community action and the difference we can make when we choose to repair rather than replace.

Well done to everyone involved in making the event such a success.

UK hedgehog populations have declined dramatically in recent decades, which is why local rescues play such an important role in caring for sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs.

Every ticket sold in Royston Friends Association’s June Raffle helps support Royston Hedgehog Rescue and the amazing work Claire does for these wonderful animals.
