Did you know that Birdwell Community Centre is run completely by just 10 volunteers?

All our events and our Friendly Faces group is organised and run by these volunteers. They spend many hours taking bookings, cleaning, paying bills, arranging events etc, doing everything possible to maintain the community centre.

We do not receive funding from anywhere else therefore we would be lost without our volunteers.

Last Saturdays Spring Fair raised a valuable Β£400 towards its upkeep.

Thank you everyone and here's to our next event on 16 May.

The committee would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone for including all our stall holders, everyone who attend our Spring Fair and to all our volunteers for helping us to make it happen.

We are self funding and therefore every penny we raise helps us keep our Community Centre open and part of your community.

Thank you once again.

Ps watch out for further events including Table Top Sale 16th May.
