Chapeltown & Burncross Community Centre - Weekly Hire Slots Now Available
Chapeltown & Burncross Community Centre is a charity-based, not-for-profit venue run for the benefit of our local community.
Our aim is to provide a welcoming, accessible, and well-managed space where local people can come together, learn, move, socialise, and take part in a varied programme of activities.
We currently have some daytime availability for regular weekly group sessions.
In addition, a very rare Wednesday evening slot will soon become available - something that has not happened for well over a decade.
We are especially interested in hearing from groups, instructors, organisations, and small local businesses who would like to offer something positive, useful, inclusive, and community-focused for local residents.

Please note:
- As a community venue, we aim to offer a varied programme of activities, and avoid duplicating bookings within the same genre where similar provision already exists.
- All businesses/user groups must provide a valid Public Liability Insurance (PLI) certificate.
- A valid DBS certificate is required for anyone working with children.
- Safeguarding policy details may also be required where relevant.
- Regular bookings are generally offered on a long-term weekly basis, rather than on an ad hoc basis.
- Limited ad hoc rental slots may occasionally become available where space permits. Please message us directly for further details.
