Chapelgreen Community Fridge

Directions

Chapelgreen Community Fridge Everyone is welcome to attend Saturdays 11am to 12.30pm. All the food is free. Everyone is welcome to attend Saturdays 11am to 1pm.

We have food available that has been donated by local retailers, that they would otherwise deem as waste (but is perfectly edible) and is destined for landfill. We ask that you only take what you can use, and consider other members that want to also use the fridge. When you come we ask that you register with just a couple of details and then you use your membership number each week. Chapelgreen Community Fridge is completely run by volunteers, if you would like to join us then please let us know.

🎉 Congratulations to Councillor John Housley BEM 🎉

Ecclesfield Parish Council is delighted to congratulate one of our councillors, John Housley, on being awarded the British Empire Medal in this year’s New Year Honours List, in recognition of his services to the community in Chapeltown.

This well-deserved honour reflects John’s long-standing dedication, hard work, and commitment to public service and to the communities he serves.
