We offer memberships, printmaking resources and a range of courses and workshops. You can also buy original artworks in our gallery.

We deliver weekly sessions for people of all abilities who need some support to improve their mental health or wellbeing. Seacourt is raising funds to buy, preserve and revitalise Bangor’s old Ulster bank, but we need your help! If you can afford to do so, please consider making a pledge. 𝚂𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚝 𝙼𝚎𝚖𝚋𝚎𝚛𝚜 𝚝𝚘 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚠 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎  𝙸𝚜𝚕𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝙰𝚛𝚝𝚜 𝙲𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚛𝚎, 𝙻𝚒𝚜𝚋𝚞𝚛𝚗

We’re delighted to take the opportunity to show our members work to a whole new audience, and are grateful to the Island Arts Centre, Lisburn for this opportunity.

Celebrating 25 years of the Island Arts Centre, and Seacourt’s recent move back into Bangor’s city centre.

The work on show will be based on the artists involved revisiting an older piece of work, re-evaluating it with fresh eyes and new techniques, and bringing it to life again through the medium of print. The new pieces will be exhibited alongside the older pieces, giving the viewer a chance to see the artist’s progression, or change of focus.

It gives the artist an opportunity or reason to reflect back on another time in their lives and perhaps shift the emphasis to focus on current inspirations and interests.

Here is a sneak peek of the work delivered safely and ready to be hung.

The opening of this exhibition will be on Saturday 24th October from 2-4pm and will run until the 21st November. We hope you can make it along!

It is a beautiful show of intricate etchings, taking you on a journey through the forests of Sarah’s imagination.

Sarah will be talking about her work and the inspirations behind it, plus demonstrating her printing process live on the evening. Come along on Friday 23rd October from 5-6pm.

Pause and Print is back!

Pause and Print aims to reduce isolation, improve individuals mental health, increase well-being, engage participants in learning new skills and exploring ideas.

There will be a chance to make some art using various printmaking techniques - no prior experience is necessary! We’ll have plenty of time for chat and there will be tea and treats (of course!).

Her studio on the first floor of our building is an absolute treasure trove of inspiration, and an artwork in itself!

Our fab duo Amy and Anna have come to the end of their placement with us, so we celebrated in style last week with some pizza and fizz!
Thankfully you will still see them both around as part of our Seacourt family, just in different capacities.
Thank you to you both - you stepped in to the job with ease, and made our lives all the more sweeter.

We are excited to partner with Aspects Festival this year, along with our Artist in Residence, Imogen Donegan.
As part of the festival this year, the Southbank Centre's "A Poet in Every Port" project is coming to Bangor, bringing 5 days of exploring poetry, creativity and coastal voices.

On Saturday the 26th September, Seacourt will be open from 1-4pm for some play with letterpress printed words and poetry. Come along and try printing from traditional wooden letterpress blocks. We will then encourage you to make your own poem, using the freshly printed words!

We will also be hosting a drop in session with Imogen Donegan, who has designed and made a beautiful wooden box, that will become the repository for all of your Bangor stories, memories and myths.

Please come along to discuss and record memories and stories that define our connection here.

These pieces of writing will help inform some of Imogen's art making as part of her residency and add to a collaborative archive of stories and lore about Bangor.

“A Journey Through The Forest”

An exhibition not to be missed, by one of our members and studio holders, Ayeen. A series of brand new intricate etchings, monotone screen prints and some old favourites too. Opening as part of Late Night Art Bangor on the 24th September from 6-9pm.
Sarah will also be talking about her work and leading a demo of her printing process on Friday 23rd Oct 5pm

In her latest solo exhibition titled “Reflections”, artist Sarah Lee-Byrne, more commonly known as Ayeen Art, draws attention to the often overlooked and seemingly insignificant things, through her signature small scale art. Her artwork serves as windows into the essence of the natural world, inviting the audience to pause, reflect, and perhaps catch a fleeting glimpse of the stories embedded within.

Sarah is based at Seacourt Print Workshop in Bangor. Her art practice is informed through her solace in nature. Specialising across the medium of drawing and print, her work bridges the gap between the tangible and the intangible, inviting viewers to explore the subtle interplay of emotion, culture, and environment.
