We welcome volunteers to our site on the 2nd and 4th Sunday and last Wednesday of every month.

Forest gardening is an agroforestry solution to sustainable living Forest gardening is a low input method of producing a diverse range of food, beverages, medicines, dyes and a range of other useful products such as beans, fruits, sugar, nuts, furniture, chemicals, buildings, fuels, biofuels, boats, paper, rayon, fibres, resins, in a system that promotes biodiversity. It provides a resource that is of enormous educational value, covering a wide range of practical skills and issues covering environment wildlife so biodiversity, food and health. As part of our activities we organize regular workdays, on the second Sunday in the month. Forest Gardening is one of many techniques that may be used in the implementation of Permaculture Design. Permaculture is a philosophy based on three ethos: PeopleCare, EarthCare and FairShare.

The Major oak aka Robin Hood oak is dead. I have oak saplings grown from acorns that I collected from this tree.
