Found bikes 🚲

Two bikes have been handed in to Bangor Police Station which were found on Garth Road on 16 February.

Anybody who has lost two bikes should contact us and provide a description of the bikes to claim them.

If you believe the bikes may belong to you, contact the control room via our website or by calling 101, quoting reference 26000130995.

📣 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 & 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻

Pendref’s independent businesses and local community have raised concerns about the planning proposal to turn the former Ranch pub into 63 student apartments with two retail units on the ground floor.

While they welcome the reuse of a long-vacant building, many say the area would be better served by a mixed-use development with affordable homes for key workers and local families, plus commercial space that supports the independent sector.

Keep Bangor Tidy will be hosting a litter pick as part of Keep Wales Tidy - Cadwch Gymru'n Daclus annual Spring Clean Cymru campaign.

The litter pick will be held on Saturday, 14th March 2026.

We'd welcome your suggestions about sites or areas that need cleaning and would also like to hear from other groups, schools or interested parties to collaborate with us on this event. Please get in touch if you are interested.
