We’re delighted to share that Sweet Island, brought to you by Jass, owner of the much-loved Spice Island, is hoping to open it's doors on Saturday 30th May! 🎉

I was lucky enough to get a little sneak peek inside and it looks absolutely INCREDIBLE 🤩🍫🍭

There’s nothing better than seeing local businesses grow and bring more life to our City centre, so let’s give Jass and the team a HUGE Bangor welcome on opening day ❤️

☀️🌈 SUMMER HOLIDAYS @ YMCA AFTER SCHOOL CLUB 2026 🌈☀️

We are SO excited to share our Summer Holiday Club Planner for 2026 and honestly, all the staff have done an AMAZING job planning it 🙌

We’ve worked hard to create a programme that offers something for everyone, whether your child loves getting active, being creative, exploring outdoors or simply having fun with friends 😊

From superhero adventures 🦸‍♂️ and pirate parties 🏴‍☠️ to beach trips 🌊, sports tournaments ⚽, baking fun 🧁, arts & crafts 🎨 and even mini Olympics 🏅 We’ve packed this summer full of creativity, laughter and unforgettable memories!

Each week has its own exciting theme, giving children the chance to explore new activities, make new friends and build confidence in a safe, fun and supportive environment 💛

Spaces are expected to fill quickly, and we cannot wait to welcome P1-P7 children from all schools for another unforgettable summer at YMCA After School Club ☀️💚

✅ Applicants must:
Be 18 years or over
Hold a Level 5 Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
such as Playwork, Childcare, or Teaching
(OR be currently working towards this qualification)
