As it’s coming to the end of LGBT History Month we thought we’d remind you that it’s not only those who identify as women who menstruate, which is why it’s important to have free products available across campus.

Gan ei fod yn dod at ddiwedd Mis Hanes LHDT, roeddem yn meddwl y byddem yn eich atgoffa nid yn unig mae rhai sy’n ystyried eu hunain fel merched sy’n menstru, a dyna pam ei bod yn bwysig cael cynnyrch am ddim ar draws y campws.

What constitutes a 'heavy' period varies from person to person. Heavy for one person might be considered normal for someone else.

This makes it difficult to define exactly what a heavy period is, but this post offers some useful tips to help you define yours.

Visit the NHS website and take the Heavy periods self-assessment test: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/heavy-periods/

Heavy periods aren't necessarily a sign that somethings wrong, but they can affect you emotionally and physically, making everyday life more challenging.

As usual, we're not medical experts and have sourced this information from the NHS page. It's always worth visiting your GP, not only to see if there's an underlying cause but also to seek advice and support on how you can best manage your heavy periods and symptoms.

Mae'r hyn sy'n gyfystyr â mislif 'trwm' yn amrywio o berson i berson. Efallai y bydd llif trwm i un person yn cael ei ystyried yn normal i rywun arall.

Mae hynny'n ei gwneud hi'n anodd diffinio beth yn union yw mislif trwm, ond mae'r erthygl hon yn cynnig awgrymiadau defnyddiol i'ch helpu i ddiffinio eich mislif chi.

Ewch i wefan y GIG a gwneud y prawf hunanasesu mislif trwm: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/heavy-periods/

Nid yw mislif trwm o reidrwydd yn arwydd bod rhywbeth o'i le, ond gall effeithio arnoch chi yn emosiynol a chorfforol, a gwneud bywyd bob dydd yn fwy heriol.

Nid ydym yn arbenigwyr meddygol wrth gwrs ac mae'r wybodaeth hon yn seiliedig ar dudalen y GIG. Mae bob amser yn werth ymweld 'ch meddyg teulu, nid yn unig i weld a oes achos gwaelodol ond hefyd i ofyn am gyngor a chefnogaeth am y ffordd orau i reoli mislif trwm ac unrhyw symptomau cysylltiedig.

Ever felt overly tired or upset for no reason? Only to find that you start your period a little while after. If you menstruate, you're probably familiar with the symptoms and the way you experience PMS. Most of us experience it in one form or another whether that's two weeks before our period or two days.

Check out the last slide which has some handy tips on how to ease the symptoms you experience.

If you don't menstruate, have a read through the slides to get a better understanding of what your friends, partners and members of your or family might be going through in the weeks leading up to their period.

As usual, we're not medical experts and have sourced this information from the NHS website. Please speak to a medical professional for further support or information.

Ydych chi erioed wedi teimlo'n orflinedig neu'n ofidus am ddim rheswm? Dim ond i ganfod bod eich mislif ar fin dechrau yn fuan wedyn. Os ydych yn cael mislif, mae'n debyg eich bod yn gyfarwydd à'r symptomau a sut brofiad yw PMS i chi. Mae'r rhan fwyaf ohonom yn ei brofi ar ryw furf neu'i gilydd p'un a yw hynny bythefnos neu ddeuddydd cyn y mislif.

Edrychwch ar y sleid olaf sy'n cynnwys cynghorion am sut i leddfu'r symptomau y byddwch yn eu profi.

Os na fyddwch yn cael mislif darllenwch y sleidiau i gael gwell dealltwriaeth o' hyn y gallai eich ffrindiau, partneriaid neu aelodau o'ch teulu fod y mynd drwyddo yn yr wythnosau sy'n arwain at eu mislif.

Fel arfer, nid ydym yn arbenigwyr meddygol ac rydym wedi dod o hyd i'r wybodaeth hon o wefan NHS. Siaradwch â gweithiwr meddygol proffesiynol i gael cyngor neu wybodaeth bellach.
