We're exploring the idea of a new men's sports café in Clandeboye – The Dugout ⚽🎯☕
As part of Men's Health Week, next week, we're inviting local men to come along and help shape what The Dugout could look like.
A relaxed space where men can connect, watch sport, play darts or pool, enjoy a cuppa and take part in activities that matter to them.
We'd love to hear your ideas on activities, training, wellbeing support and anything else that would encourage men to get involved.

No pressure, no presentations – just a chance to have your say and help create something positive for men in our community.
With the added bonus of a free cuppa and sausage roll! 😄

Think you've got what it takes to beat the champion? 👀

Tonight at DICE Clandeboye, we're hosting a Pool Tournament Challenge, and there's a twist... anyone who can beat our current champion Lawton will win a cinema voucher to enjoy a movie of their choice! 🍿🎬

Whether you're a seasoned player or just fancy giving it a go, come along, get involved, and see if you can knock the champion off the top spot!

A huge thank you to RJW Pool and Jason for supplying our fantastic pool table, which is one of the most popular activities at the club.

Who will be crowned tonight's champion? 🏆

⚠️ Youth Club Update - Tuesday 9th June 2026 ⚠️

It is with regret that we have made the decision to postpone tonight's youth clubs in Bloomfield and Clandeboye.

We are aware of discussions on social media about potential protests taking place this evening. While we are not clear on the circumstances or who may be involved, the safety and wellbeing of our young people must always come first.

As a precautionary measure, we feel it is best not to hold our youth clubs tonight. We want to ensure that our young people from all backgrounds can attend our programmes in a fun, safe, welcoming environment and are not exposed to situations that may cause harm, concern or distress.

We apologise for any disappointment this may cause and appreciate your understanding. We look forward to welcoming everyone back soon.

To celebrate the long-awaited development of the Clandeboye grass football pitch, we are delighted to announce that Bangor Football Club First Team will be holding a series of pre-season training sessions on the pitch over the coming weeks.

This marks a significant moment for our community and provides a fantastic opportunity for local residents, families, and young footballers to see first-hand how senior players train and prepare for the upcoming season.

For many young people with a passion for football, this will be a rare chance to watch experienced players and coaches up close, observe professional training methods, and experience the atmosphere of a senior football environment within their own community.

These sessions are not simply about football training — they are about bringing positive sporting activity into Clandeboye, inspiring young people, and showcasing the potential of a facility that the community worked tirelessly to secure.

We are extremely grateful to Bangor Football Club for supporting the community in this way and helping to mark what is an important and historic occasion for local football in Clandeboye.

Residents are warmly encouraged to come along, support the occasion, and enjoy seeing the pitch brought to life.
