We are an HR Administrator – Part Time - Bangor West

Are you an experienced HR Administrator looking for a new part-time opportunity where you can make a real difference?

We are creating a new HR Administrator role to support our HR Manager and help strengthen the people function across our organisation. This is a varied and meaningful role, offering the opportunity to get involved in recruitment, onboarding, AccessNI checks, employee changes, absence administration and general day-to-day HR support.

You will be joining a values-led charitable organisation supporting vulnerable adults across social care and homelessness services. Our teams are committed to delivering high-quality care and support, and this role will play an important part in helping us maintain a strong, positive people culture as the organisation continues to grow and seeks to “Do More For More.”

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accurate and confidential administration, and is confident working with a degree of independence. As this is a new role, there will be scope to help shape the post, improve processes and make the role your own.

The role is based at our beautiful Head Office location at Strickland's Care Village, Bangor, with 16 hours to be worked flexibly between Monday and Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm.

We are looking for someone with:

*CIPD Level 3 qualification, or working towards this
*at least 1 year’s HR administration experience
*strong organisational skills
*excellent attention to detail
*a professional, confidential and approachable manner

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to use their HR administration experience in a role that supports both people and purpose.

Ready for a role where no two days are the same and your coffee may go cold before you get to drink it? We’ve made a change to help us find the right person — we’re looking for an experienced, part-time PROJECT OFFICER to join the fantastic team at HarmonI’s Utility Street Men’s Hostel in Belfast.

This rewarding role involves supporting men experiencing homelessness to build resilience, develop independent living skills, and move on from emergency accommodation into a tenancy of their choosing. Great to have NourishandNurtu.re attend HarmonI today to start our 5-week 'Thrive in Five' event.

As they say, everyday is a school day, and everyone took away something new; from better sleep habits, to better diet and food to improving hydration levels.

Looking forward to next week already

Session 1 of my 'Thrive in Five' Wellbeing Series is done. 🙌

Today I had the privilege of kicking off a five-session staff wellbeing programme with the incredible team at HarmonI . Thank you to Heather Hanson Assoc CIPD and her wonderful team for engaging in actionable, meaningful conversations.

Session 1: Macros, Mood & Mindset — how what you eat, sleep and think shapes everything else.

The feedback spoke for itself.

100% of attendees rated the session 5/5.

↳ 50% said food & nutrition is now their primary wellbeing focus
↳ 33% are prioritising sleep — and taking real action this week
↳ 91.6% left feeling confident that small, consistent changes could genuinely shift how they feel at work

Before the session? Half the room had gaps in their knowledge about the link between nutrition, sleep and mood. A quarter knew it — but didn't know how to move forward.

That's the gap wellbeing education exists to close.

Three clear themes emerged when people identified what they'd take action on this week:

↳ Sleep hygiene — building consistent routines, winding down properly, protecting rest
↳ Eating more regularly and balanced meals — fuelling the body to support focus, mood and energy
↳ Emotional regulation through the day — recognising the signals and responding, not just reacting

Small. Doable. Evidence-based. And in care sector roles — where shift work, emotional labour and chronic stress are the norm — genuinely life-changing.

Four more sessions still to come:

Anxiety to Alignment ~ Mood & Momentum ~ Adapt & Anchor ~ Sustain & Shine

Because the people who care for others need to be cared for too.

If your team are running on empty, that's not a failing — it's a signal. Thriving teams don't happen by accident, they grow through clinician-led education and conversations.

If you're serious about creating real change, come and find me at www.nourishandnurtu.re or drop a comment below — I'd love to connect.
