🩷🩵🩷HELP US TO HELP YOU: Hopefully everyone on the estate has received their 'Grange Connect' newsletter delivered through your letterbox by our team of volunteers. Thanks so much for the positive feedback on the newsletter, it really is appreciated. If you didn't get a copy, you can pick one up any time from Leigh-Ann in Wilson's Nearby & The Treat Bar. Inside the newsletter, you'll find a wee Community Survey which we'd like as many residents as possible to fill in and return to us through the Shop. We've kept it as easy to complete as possible so you can let us know what you think are the most important issues for residents on the estate and what we can do to make sure what we do meets your needs. If you need us to pick up the completed survey from you, just message our page and we'll arrange to get it from you.

Thanks again to the Grange Neighbourhood Renewal Partnership for their support.

‼️We've been contacted by a number of residents, concerned about motorcycles on the estate disturbing neighbours at all hours and bikes and cars being driven carelessly and at speed through the estate. The last thing anyone wants is for someone to be seriously injured or worse, so please respect your community, keep the speed down and drive carefully.

Thanks to the community volunteers who organised the 'Kill your speed' signs around the estate last week and to Trevor Clarke for his support.

😡‼️🔥‼️A number of residents have contacted us again about fires being lit and rubbish being dumped on the grass beside the bonfire field. The latest fire a few days ago was set up against the nearby NIE substation and more rubbish has been dumped on the grass beside the substation after the NIHE cleared the site for us only last Friday. The last thing anyone wants is for someone to get seriously hurt, or for property to be damaged, and we definitely don't want our estate to be a dumping ground for all sorts of rubbish from all round the place. The Council, PSNI, NIE and NIHE have been notified but please have a word with your kids and make sure they don't get involved in setting fires around that substation, and definitely, whoever's been doing it STOP DUMPING YOUR RUBBISH ON OUR DOORSTEP!😡

🌼🌺🌿Fantastic to see so many folk supporting our Grange Community Plower Pot Planting this afternoon. Wonderful to see the kids getting stuck in so enthusiastically and getting their pots planted so beautifully.🌼🌺🌿

Thanks to JB's Fruit & Veg Ballyclare, Grange Neighbourhood Renewal Partnership and Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough for helping us get the Grange blooming this Summer. It really is appreciated.👍

🌼🌺🌿GRANGE COMMUNITY FLOWER POT PLANTING THIS AFTERNOON🌼🌺🌿To help keep the Grange Estate blooming this Summer, we've organised another flower pot planting session for Grange residents in the Grahamstown Park car park TODAY from 3-4pm. Just bring along the flower pots that were planted with Spring bulbs and flowers back in March and we'll help you plant them out with beautiful blooms for the Summer! Plants and compost will be provided and if you don't have a pot, we've some spare for you to plant out and take home. Message this page to book a place so we can make sure there's pots and plants ready for you this afternoon.

Thanks to the Grange Neighbourhood Renewal Partnership for their support.

🩷🩵🩷Hopefully everyone on the estate has received their new 'Grange Connect' newsletter delivered through your letterbox this afternoon by our team of volunteers. The newsletter tells you a bit more about the Grange Community Action Group, what projects, activities and events we've been organising over the past few months to support residents; what we plan to do this year; and how you can get involved. If you didn't get a copy today, you can pick one up any time from Leigh-Ann in Wilson's Nearby & The Treat Bar. ‼️🔥‼️A number of residents have contacted us recently, concerned about wee ones from the estate setting fires on the grass beside the bonfire field. The latest fire was set very close to the nearby NIE building and kids were also seen trying to get on to the roof of that building. The last thing anyone wants is for someone to get seriously hurt, or for property to be damaged. Pallets being collected for the bonfire are also being taken, so please make sure you know where your kids are when they're out of the house and don't let them get involved in this dangerous activity.
