Friday night, done right !!

Last night we packed a lot into our program.
🎨We created some new artwork for our display wall
🙏🏼We took time to add to our Thanksgiving Tree and Prayer Wall.
🏅We played games and had snacks. 😁
📖Phill completed his series on Relationships, focusing last night on Families and how God has placed us where we are and uses us to make an impact within our very homes.

Our next gathering is on Friday 7th November at 7pm and all 11-16 year olds are very welcome 😁

We had another great night continuing our Study in
📖The Book of Ruth📖
We looked at how God can take our small expectations and greatly bless us.
It just takes a step of faith.

Friday Nights at WAYFINDR are the best

Last night we had loads of fun with our games and challenges.
We love how involved everyone gets and competitive streaks definitely are on show.

Phill continued his talks on the series Circles.
This week we looked at “Friendships”.
Phill shared the importance of loving each other as Jesus loves us and the example he showed while he was here on earth.
Phill also talked about how we can protect ourselves by setting boundaries and choosing to step away when things feel wrong.

We then opened up our small group Huddles and discussed what our own experiences have been.

It was another fantastic night spent with an awesome group
Our next night is Friday 16th October @ 7pm

What an awesome way to spend a Sunday morning.
Even the weather couldn’t stop us from heading to Ballygally Beach with The Way Church to witness 3 of our very own WAYFINDRS (along with 5 others of all ages) make a public declaration of their faith in Jesus by getting baptised.

Leo, Lucy & Justine, we are so proud of you for taking this step in your relationship with Christ and we pray Gods blessing and guidance over your lives as you continue to open up your hearts to him.

On Friday Night we had another awesome night at WAYFINDR.
We had snacks and games and loads of fun
We also looked at the topic of “Who Am I?”
We did charts about ourselves, our likes dislikes, hopes, favourite verses and who Christ says we are.
Phill did a talk about Relationships focusing on dating and what the bible teaches us.
He talked about guarding yourself and not “awakening love before it’s time”
We had great discussions in huddles and shared how we look at relationships.

We look forward to our next night together on Friday 2nd October
We welcome all 11-16year olds.

We had a brilliant first night back at our
🌸BLOOM - Creative Bible Study🌸
We are beginning this year by studying the
📖Book of Ruth. 📖
We looked at Ruth’s loyalty to Naomi and how her devotion caused her to leave all she knew and cling to Naomi.

“Where you go I will go……your people will be my people and your God will be my God”

This was Gods plan to bring Ruth to where she would meet and marry Boaz and they would be named in the lineage of Jesus Christ.
The great pull brought her to where she needed to be for God to use her.

We also had a special celebration. One of our members, Justine turned 15 and we celebrated with cake.

What an awesome 1st night back @ WAYFINDR !
We kicked off the night with some very competitive, energetic games and challenges (We apologise for the noise🤪)
We were delighted to have our Pastor, Johnny Carson pop in for a visit.
We spent the remainder of the night focusing on the topic of “Prayer”
Our WAYFINDRS participated in different activities that encouraged them to open up their hearts in communication with God.
We did a THANKSGIVING TREE, PRAYER BOARDS, MINISTRY STONES and a PRAYER REQUEST BOARD.
We trust that this will encourage our young people in their own personal prayer times and corporate prayer with one another.

All 11 - 16 year olds are very welcome to join us for our fun filled nights.
We do games, challenges, snacks, talks and discussions about our faith in Jesus.

Last night we ended a great year with our awesome WAYFINDRS!
Loads of fun was had by all. Games, art, food and to end the night we had our annual 🏆Awards Ceremony🏆
We have had such a wonderful year with this super group of young people. We have loved watching them grow in confidence, in friendships but most importantly in their walk with Christ.
We pray that everyone has an enjoyable summer and we look forward to welcoming old and new faces when we meet again in September. We are excited to see what God has planned for us next year for us as a group and as individuals.

🌸PRAYER BOARDS🌸
Last night was our last night of Bloom for this year.
We did something different tonight. Instead of working on our scrapbooks, we created these beautiful Prayer Boards.
Each girl put her own flare on creating their very own prayer board to take home and use.
My prayer is that this encourages each girl to open up their hearts to God each day. To look at their blessings, to record things they want to pray for and to be able to look back and see the prayers God has answered.
We serve a mighty Saviour who wants nothing more than for us to open up our hearts to Him and spend time with Him and I trust the girls are blessed as they add to and use these boards.
