Alton College Foundation The Alton College Foundation, a registered charity, set up in 1999 to help Alton College We now operate two schemes.

The Alton College Foundation was set up in 1999 to help the College provide facilities and equipment that could not otherwise be provided from government funds. Since creation we have raised over £650000 which has bought equipment for the college, created a quiet garden for students, awarded Scholarships to 397 students and provided bursaries and grants of over £120000since 2010. These are the Sch

olarship for Excellence scheme and the Student Support Fund. More information can be found on our website



The Foundation is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee and operates totally independent of the college.

We have been really pleased with all the students who have been interviewed for Scholarships over the past 2 weeks. As usual very hard to make a selection but we have already let those who were interviewed in the first week know if they have been successful or not. For those who were not selected they should still be proud that they made it to the interview stage.

Scholarship interviews have started and we have seen really good candidates. That makes decisions harder but everybody should be proud whatever their outcomes.

We have almost finished deciding what students will be invited for Interview in January. We hope to let everybody know who has been successful before Christmas so keep watching your email if you applied.
