You might have noticed our volunteers often wear two wristbands.

One to wear and one to pass on.

As an awareness first charity, getting our name out there and making sure more people know about ANDYSMANCLUB is what we’re all about.

And sometimes, something as simple as handing someone a wristband can start a conversation that makes all the difference.

This World Mental Health Day, we want you to get involved.

We’re giving TWO free wristbands, to anyone who wants to help spread the word. One for you, and one to give to a mate, family member or someone you meet along the way.

Whether it starts a conversation, introduces someone to ANDYSMANCLUB or simply helps spread the word, every wristband has a part to play.

Ever seen one of these out and about and wondered what actually happens at ANDYSMANCLUB?

When you arrive, one of our friendly facilitators will welcome you in and show you where to grab a brew and a biscuit.

The session then follows a simple 5 question format. The first three are always the same:

How’s your week been?
One positive from your week?
Anything to get off your chest?

We’ll then usually have a short break before finishing with two questions that might be funny, inspirational or thought provoking, sometimes as simple as “what’s your favourite sandwich?”

We pass a talking ball around the group so there’s never any pressure to talk. If you’re not ready, you can simply pass it on.

That’s it. No booking, no referrals and no pressure.

Just a room full of men, a brew, and a safe space to talk.

An NHS service is also available.
People of all ages, including children, who are in crisis or concerned family and loved ones can now call 111, select the mental health option and speak to a trained mental health professional. ❤️

Over 7000 men across the UK attended AMC last night. That's a new record.
