🦅 This juvenile Red Kite was transferred to HART from a local veterinary practice. The Red Kite was found grounded, in a state of shock, and very muddy. We’re hopeful for a quick recovery!

🐟 A less common patient for us here at HART, this juvenile Kingfisher was transferred to us from a local veterinary practice. He presented as a suspected window collision so was started on a short course of anti-inflammatories. After a period of rehabilitation, he was released back to where he was found!

🦊 This poor young fox was rescued from a garage in Farnham after having been spotted residing there looking very poorly. He is suffering from a very bad case of mange and is extremely thin, as well as having infected bite wounds on his back legs. Although he is in such bad shape, he is very fiesty and we hope he will make a full recovery!

🩷 We’re in need of 1ml syringes, blue roll, and small nitrile gloves. If you can help, please consider purchasing much needed items off our Amazon wishlist. We really appreciate your support!

🐰 These tiny baby bunnies were brought into HART after their nest was accidentally dug up. Sadly, they will now have to be hand-reared here at the centre and are currently being cared for by one of our wildlife carers, Lydia. They’re so young that they still have their eyes closed!!

❤️ We’re in need of Safe4 disinfectant and puppy pads, as well as other items. If you can help, please consider purchasing much needed items off our Amazon wishlist. We really appreciate every donation we receive!

🐰 The two leverets we recently introduced you to are both doing really well! They’re being hand-reared by our manager Robyn, and are both gaining weight nicely.

🐾 We admitted this young Weasel a few weeks ago after she was found alone in the middle of a garden. On arrival to HART, she was very weak and lethargic with flystrike. As you can see, she’s made great progress under the care of our team and we’re hopeful for a successful return to the wild!

❤️ If you’d like to support our work, please consider donating items through our Amazon wishlist. We’re currently in need of calcium supplement, Ecover disinfectant, and washing-up liquid. Every donated item we receive is a huge help!

🐣 This baby Sparrowhawk came into HART after being found out of the nest. Underweight and much too small to be on the ground, he was brought into HART where we discovered he had flystrike. Flystrike is a horrible condition and something we see far too frequently during these warmer months. Flystrike is where flies lay their eggs on weak, vulnerable animals and these eggs will eventually hatch into maggots! Luckily this youngster was found just in time and we were able to remove all the flystrike with no lasting damage.
