This year, we’re doing the raffle a little differently…
After the top prizes have been drawn, (not including the 500 guineas top prize), the excitement continues with the tombola, giving even more people the chance to walk away with something special.

Prizes include:
• Sponsor a Puppy Package from Dogs For Autism
• Beer Education & Brewery Tour with Maverick Brew Co
• Family Game of Crazy Golf at Worldham Golf Course
• Go Karting Voucher from Team Sport Go Karting

Will they defend their title? It’s in your hands!

One of the most-loved parts of Alton Victorian Cricket is seeing the teams go all out with their costumes. If a team has caught your eye with their brilliant outfits, make sure to vote for them in our Best Dressed Team contest.

Here’s how to cast your vote:

1. Head to the bar and ask for your voting token – every guest gets one!

2. Take a good look at the teams throughout the day and pick your favourite.

3. Visit the voting station near the pitch – each team has their own tube.

4. Simply drop your token into the tube of the team you think is best dressed!

It’s all a bit of fun, but the winning team will take home our coveted Best Dressed Trophy – and, of course, eternal bragging rights.

So keep your eyes peeled, cast your vote, and help us celebrate the creativity, colour, and charm that makes this event so special!

2 WEEKS TO GO 🏏

Only 2 weeks left to go until we head back to The Butts for this year’s Alton Victorian Cricket Tournament!

Costumes? Sorted.
Practice? Still very much needed.
Will our teams be ready by Sunday 28th June? You’ll have to come and join us and see!

Expect a day filled with fabulous community spirit, family fun, delicious food & drink, and plenty of action on (and off) the pitch — all in support of this year’s amazing charity, Dogs for Autism.

Bushy Leaze

“Our history is entwined with the Alton Victorian Cricket Tournament. The Tournament was originally set up in 1983 by Bushy Leaze to raise money for the organisation, which it continued to do for many years.

2026 will be our eighth consecutive tournament entering a team, during which time we’ve made the final twice and won it once. Our team is composed of a trustee, former governor, parents from the local community who have benefitted from Bushy Leaze in the past and our friends, all of whom live locally and have young children.”

As we come to the end of we wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to all of the volunteers that make the Alton Victorian Cricket Tournament happen.

From the scorers and umpires, to the event marshals and bar staff, to the committee themselves.

This event wouldn’t be what it is without all of their continued support. THANK YOU SO MUCH for helping us to make such a fantastic day happen.

Drum roll please introducing a returning favourite to the field, it’s none other than…

The Alton Masons

Alton is home to five Masonic Lodges; Shalden, Amery, Aultoun, Camelot and Holybourne, all meeting at the Alton Masonic Centre in Market Street, Alton.

Unfortunately, the Alton Runners, have had to pull out of this year’s tournament.

However, we’re delighted to announce that, following a lottery draw from our unsuccessful applicants, the Bushy Leaze will now be joining the line-up!
