Is someone missing their furry friend tonight?

He was found outside and handed in out of the rain and cold to us at makers. He’ll have a little sleepover in the cafe tonight to learn how to make the traybakes and will be able to be picked up from tomorrow from 9am 😊

🎤 Rockin around the Makers tree 🎄

Throughout the month of December John will be performing a selection of Christmas songs on a Friday afternoon to get everyone into the spirit. If you are interested in coming to see him perform he will be performing between 12pm until 12:30pm and then again at 1pm until 1:30pm

Yesterday Ian’s wife Jennie alongside his G4S colleagues, family and friends participated in the kilt walk in honour of Ian’s memory whilst fundraising for the cafe. Ian was a very much loved and valued member of the team who was incredibly passionate about his role and we continue to honour his memory in everything we do.

We want to say a massive well done to everyone who participated and thank you to everyone who has donated.

⚠️ STORM ÉOWYN UPDATE ⚠️

Due to the red weather warning that is in place for today we would kindly ask customers not to travel to the cafe for their own safety. We will be closing for the remainder of today and are currently trying to contact bookings that we have to inform them of the closure.

We hope that everyone stays safe and we will resume our normal service on Monday.

Due to the sad passing of one of our colleagues, the cafe will remain closed today (Monday 18th November), as we take time to grieve and honour their memory. We will reopen on Tuesday 19th November.
