This is a substantial freelance opportunity, worth up to £20,000, for someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships, bringing communities together and turning ideas into action.

You don’t need to think of yourself as a traditional consultant or freelancer. You might have community development, engagement, volunteering or participation experience and be ready for a new chapter.

What matters to us is that you enjoy working with people, can build relationships, bring people together and have the confidence to take ideas forward and make things happen.

💧 A BIG THANK YOU FROM THE WATER WE CARRY 💙

A huge thank you to Riverbank Laundry for their wonderfully generous donation of wool for our latest community creative project at Carsebridge Cultural Campus.

This is the beginning of The Water We Carry — a collaborative artwork being created as part of our FORTH₂O Water Projects with the University of Stirling.

Over the coming weeks, people will be invited to add wool, textiles, shells, found objects, words and other small contributions to the driftwood, as we explore our relationships with water, place, memory and the future.

The piece will grow and change as more hands contribute to it — before becoming part of our Water Stories & Water Futures community exhibition on 31 August.

And this is exactly why donations like this matter. Riverbank Laundry Ltd are a local, family-run laundry business, and their gift of wool has given us another lovely opportunity to reuse materials, bring people together and create something collectively.

🌿 Could you help shape the future of community?

We are delighted to be recruiting a Rural Community Activation Coordinator to join Resonate Together at Carsebridge Cultural Campus.

We are looking for someone who already understands community.

Someone who enjoys bringing people together, knows how to build trusted relationships and can turn ideas into action.

Someone who can take ownership, create momentum and help grow opportunities for people across Clackmannanshire to connect, contribute and play an active part in their community.

This is a fixed-term freelance contract of up to £20,000, running from approximately September 2026 to March 2027.

It is an opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated community practitioner to help us grow participation, strengthen partnerships, support volunteers and develop activity at Carsebridge and across our wider community.

And although this is initially a funded contract, we are thinking beyond March. If we find the right person and can demonstrate the impact of the role, we want to explore how it might develop as Resonate Together continues to grow.

Every person has something valuable to contribute.

A lovely little update for this coming Saturday… 🌿

We’re really happy to share that Julie Dunion will be joining Angela for this month’s Creative Wellbeing Studio: Walkabout.

Julie and Resonate go back a long way, so in many ways this feels less like welcoming her back and more like picking up a creative conversation that never really went away. ❤️

This Saturday we’ll slow things down, head outside around Carsebridge and notice the shapes, textures, leaves and little details we so often walk past.

Then, back in the studio, Julie will introduce us to gel printing, using natural and found materials to experiment with colour, pattern and mark-making.

There’s no pressure to make a “good” piece of art. No experience is needed. It’s about adults playing, experimenting, being outdoors, talking, creating and giving ourselves a little time away from everything else.

And perhaps making something unexpected along the way.
