Resonate Together Resonate Together is a profit-for-good, Community led Social Enterprise with Charitable status. Resonate Together is something different to everyone.

Resonate Together is a profit-for-good, community led organisation and charity; our focus is connecting community, culture, environment, health and business into a practical, safe and sustainable living system for all. Our core aims are around 3 important aspects for every local person in Alloa:
1 - We create the environment for individuals to connect within themselves, enabling each person to make the confident choices about their own health, how they wish to develop their positive life and expand their skills and abilities, through learning, trust and kindness.

2 - Resonate Together then works on 'connection' - for connecting with others, across the full diversity of our community - enables a growth in our community's resilience and benefits us all.

3 - Belonging. What does it mean to 'belong' to a place, to the history and heritage of that area, to the nature around us... This is the one of the most important aspects for any community, to create that 'space' for understanding, for mutual and collective pride and care; and for the opportunity to trust our collective innovative 'mind-and-heart-sets' and develop what we need, right here, for us all to flourish. Whether you want to learn skills, meet people, share abilities, start a new business, volunteer and help others, have some fun, increase your wellbeing, build your self confidence, recycle your ‘waste products’ for others to use, develop a social enterprise, enjoy and share environmental project… the list goes on. The team at Resonate know that supporting each individual to develop their own Leadership comes from building trust and kindness into action. To increase equality and inclusion, we need to work together and for the last 12 years, our team has contributed to creating and supporting positive opportunities for all individuals who choose to 'get involved' and Lead their own lives, wellbeing and happiness. 🌟 A REMARKABLE PAST. AN AMBITIOUS FUTURE.

Could you help shape what comes next?

Resonate Together is growing, and we're looking for new people to join our Board of Directors Trustees.

Founded in Alloa in 2010, we're an independent local charity with big ambitions for our community.

With the historic Carsebridge Cultural Campus now in community ownership, we're building on our heritage while developing exciting opportunities in culture, tourism, innovation, employability, enterprise and much more.

And we'd love some new people to help guide that journey.

We're particularly interested in hearing from people who live in Alloa, who bring professional experience, sound judgement, fresh perspectives and a genuine commitment to our community.

We're currently looking for:

🔹 Treasurer – with financial, accountancy or charity governance experience.

🔹 Secretary – with strong organisational and governance skills.

🔹 Board Trustees – people with strategic thinking, business experience, community knowledge or specialist expertise.

You don't need previous Board experience. What matters is a questioning mind, integrity, a willingness to learn and the commitment to help make good things happen.

Our Board meets monthly, with opportunities for development, specialist training and involvement in the wider work of Resonate Together.

This is about more than joining a Board. It's about helping an Alloa charity build its next chapter, for the benefit of our wider community.

What a lovely first day of Doors Open Days at Carsebridge! ❤️

We welcomed people of all ages through the doors yesterday — including lots of visitors who had travelled from Edinburgh and were spending the day exploring several of Clackmannanshire’s wonderful Doors Open Days locations.

And the conversations! From Carsebridge’s wh**ky history to Alloa Bowls; Napoleon’s Pillar and Egypt; b**r festivals and local memories; 3D printing and LLMs; Community Wealth Building — and even Sisyphus pushing his boulder up the hill and a bit of philosophy!

That is perhaps what we loved most about yesterday. Heritage might bring us through the door, but once people get together, conversations can go absolutely anywhere.

A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers and everyone who came, shared stories, asked questions, explored the buildings and spent time with us.

And we’re doing it all again TODAY!

WOW! 😁
What a FANTASTIC first session back ...So many new faces and few old familiar ones too it was lovely to see you all 😁❤️

We welcomed everyone back ,laid out the League fixtures for the season ahead and announced the arrival of our CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP the details of which to be finalised in the coming days and weeks 😁

We look forward to next week where we can get started on preparation for our upcoming matches and a lesson for our new and beginner players on how to improve their game.

We’re sharing our Rural Community Activation Coordinator opportunity again as we head towards the closing date.

This is a substantial freelance opportunity, worth up to £20,000, for someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships, bringing communities together and turning ideas into action.

You don’t need to think of yourself as a traditional consultant or freelancer. You might have community development, engagement, volunteering or participation experience and be ready for a new chapter.

We’re looking for someone to help us grow community activity and connections from Carsebridge Cultural Campus in Alloa — now in community ownership — and across Clackmannanshire.

And we particularly want to say this:
Please don’t be put off by the words “freelance contract”.
You don’t need to be a consultant.

You might have worked in community development, engagement, volunteering, participation or alongside local people and communities. You might be between roles, thinking about returning to this kind of work, or simply ready for a new chapter.

What matters to us is that you enjoy working with people, can build relationships, bring people together and have the confidence to take ideas forward and make things happen.

The Rural Community Activation Coordinator contract is worth up to £20,000, running from approximately September 2026 to March 2027.
