The Clackmannanshire Tapestry

The Clackmannanshire Tapestry Inspired by the glory of The Great Tapestry of Scotland, CTSI proposed to create a similar work, designed by Andrew Crummy, to celebrate Clackmannanshire.

The Clackmannanshire Tapestry

CTSI led Community Project

In 2019, inspired by the Great Tapestry of Scotland, work started on The Clackmannanshire Tapestry and the completed work will be launched in Alloa in early 2022. Over the past two years and under cover of lockdown, dozens of stitchers throughout The Wee County have been working quietly for countless hours on the five embroidered panels

that make up The Clackmannanshire Tapestry. The design honours some of the trades, attractions, history and people that are the essence of Clackmannanshire. In late 2021 stitching has almost been completed and the finished work will be launched in Alloa in early 2022.
