PSHG is a Scottish charity based in Airdrie. We support individuals with a neurological diagnosis, their carers and families.

North Lanarkshire's Tackling Poverty Team provides free support with benefits, debt advice. fuel poverty, and cost of living issues.

We have a guest speaker from the team on Thursday 5th November at 11am in the centre.

🍂 Autumn Wreath Making 🍂

Members enjoyed a wreath making activity last week. Our annual Christmas wreath making day is extremely popular so we added in another session this month with an autumn theme and everyone enjoyed the activity.

A great turn out and thank you to everyone who came along and got involved.

Our members recently enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing sound bath at PSHG, led by the fantastic Gillian from Hejira. ✨

Sound baths can help reduce stress, promote deep relaxation, improve sleep and support overall emotional well-being. It was lovely to see everyone embracing the calming experience and enjoying the session together.

A huge thank you to Gillian for creating such a peaceful atmosphere. We’re already looking forward to our next one!

On Saturday we welcomed members, volunteers, staff, friends and family into the centre for our Garden Party as a thank you to all who support the charity.

Thank you to all who came along and we look forward to making this an annual event.

A couple of months ago our internal doors flew straight off their hinges thanks to our lovely Scottish weather!

A massive thank you to Graeme who came to our wee charities rescue and repaired the doors for us free of charge.

Cocktails & a Movie Night 2026 🎬

That's a wrap on our annual Cocktails & a Movie night for 2026. The movie this year was Calamity Jane. The PSHG centre turned into the Wild West for the night and members came along dressed the part.

On the night we had the movie playing on the projector along with some mini games such as a shootout and cowboy name generator.

There was a selection of themed cocktails and mocktails to choose from.

A big thank you to all who came along and staff for putting on the evening. A special mention to our volunteer Ann-Marie who prepared the buffet for the evening.

Time to get planning for next year!

A massive thank you to William Flannigan who along with family and friends held an 80's disco raising an incredible £1,200 for PSHG.

Fundraisers and donations like this are so appreciated as it allows us to continue the work we do in supporting individuals with a neurological condition along with their carers and family members.

PSHG enjoyed a fantastic outing to the Robert Burns Museum last week and we couldn't have asked for better weather. Followed by a lovely lunch at The Fox & Willow

Thank you to staff and volunteers who make outings like this possible.

Thank you to GBT Shotts Healthy Living Centre. who provided transport for the day, we have used GBT for many outings now and the drivers always go above and beyond.
