Sleigh2Give 12 Appeal 2026 🎁🎋🎅

This year's Appeal launched earlier this month, and our donation boxes as of this weekend are now live across Didcot and in Witney (please visit our website page with the full list!), and further locations in other areas will follow (webpage will continue to be updated)

This year, the aim? As always to spread cheer, joy, and smiles to so many in our community of Oxfordshire and all thanks to the generosity and support of our community locally and beyond further afield.

Each year, our Sleigh2Give Christmas gift giving appeal, and the amount of gifts donated, just grows and grows. Last year our special festive heartwarming appeal reached over a decade, and in its 11th year was a record breaking Christmas gift giving drive

From just one toy to a puzzle, a baby blanket or comforter, to an item for a teen, or even an adult mindfulness colouring book or cosy socks, each and every gift makes an immense difference to all those who receive them - measured by the incredible smiles we see on the faces of all who receive Sleigh2Give loving. From a poorly child or their sibling or distresed parent in hospital to a patient or a family at Sobell House.
We estimate that last year's biggest ever drive raised around £80k (plus) worth in total value amassing thousands of donations far and wide - so much so we received a record number that we was able to continue providing toys to young patients in hospital at the John Radcliffe this Easter.

This year we are hoping for another amazing response, helping a selected range of beneficiaries primarily Oxford's healthcare to young carers and others less fortunate, vulnerable and in need.

Oxford Children's Hospital (Oxford Hospitals Charity) Oxford Head Injury Service - OHIS Sobell House Be Free Young Carers Helen & Douglas House Didcot Foodbank Home-Start Southern Oxfordshire Oxford Health Charity Home-Start Oxford Wigod Way Wallingford Family Centre
and SSNAP (Support for the Sick Newborn and their Parents) are among those organisations, alongside referred families at most greatest need, who we hope to provide toys, gifts and essentials in abundance.

With your help this year, we can do just this and make a huge difference in what might seem such a small way as a gift but a contribution that goes a long way and that really does cheer, joy and smiles

Sleigh2Give 2026 Appeal 🎉🎅🎁

Spreading cheer, joy, and smiles for a decade as our annual for its 12th Christmas Appeal has returned for 2026 🎅🎁

Back for its 12th festive drive and on the back of a record-breaking campaign last year that saw the most amount of gifts ever donated making the 2025 collection the biggest ever in its history with an estimated £70k plus worth of presents donated by our amazing community, supporters and corporate partners ❤️

Now, as Play2Give's Sleigh2Give has officially launched for 2026, we need your help to make our 12th appeal another brilliant one by helping us to collect donations of all *new toys and gifts to gift to those less fortunate, in need and in hospitals and hospices settings 🎄🎋🧑‍🎄

Since 2015, and first launched originally as an one-off toy appeal with Sainsbury's in Didcot, this annual appeal has captured the hearts and support of the community both from Oxfordshire and further afield even as far as Plymouth and Newbury, and, each year Sleigh2Give spreads cheer, joy, and smiles far and wide from the poorliest of children, teens and families in Oxford Children's Hospital and children's areas across the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, patients, families and staff at Oxford's Sobell House to less fortunate and low income families, and the vulnerable including young carers and adults with brain injuries

You will find Didcot Town Council's Service with a Smile award-winning Santa inside his new cosy grotto, just inside from main entrance

We will have our Tombola alongside our Mega Christmas Raffle tickets on sale

Joining in the five-hour of festive fun will be Twistopher the amazing Balloon Man and Luland Magic with his roaming magic so expect tricks and treats or two along with DD Roadshow face painting

We will have some impressive performances from choirs and singers, to get everyone into the Christmassy spirit

Free parking. £1.50 entrance donation on the door, children go free, all proceeds to Play2Give.

The hotel's restaurant and bar will be open selling food, drinks and snacks.

Sleigh2Give 2026 Appeal 🎉🎅🎁

It's here, it's October 1st and that means has launched for 2026!

Spreading cheer, joy, and smiles for over a decade as our annual Sleigh2Give Appeal has landed for its 12th year 🎅🎁

Following from our record-breaking campaign last year that saw the most amount of gifts than ever before donated, and for a well established appeal we are excited to launch this year's Christmas drive 🎄🎁

We need your help to make this year's drive another brilliant year by helping us to collect donations of all new toys and gifts to gift to those less fortunate, in need and to children and families in hospital and hospices 💓

First created in 2015 as a single toy appeal for Oxford Children's Hospital, this annual appeal has captured the hearts and support of the community both from and further afield, with around £400k in value of toys and gifts given out, and, each year Sleigh2Give spreads cheer, joy, and smiles far and wide from the poorliest of children and teens in hospital to families, patients and staff at Oxford's Sobell House to less fortunate and low income families, and the vulnerable including young carers

Play2Give's Christmas Market 2026 at Hilton Garden Inn Abingdon on Sunday 22nd November from 10am-3pm is full to traders.

Each year our event fills incredibly quickly with traders, and again this year is no exception.

This event, and this year kindly supported with a community grant by Abingdon-on-Thames Town Council, is hugely popular with last year 700 adults, not including also children, all came through the doors

Plus, it is all indoors so whatever the weather outside you will stay warm and cosy with us across five hours, and with thanks to our partners at the hotel for joining forces to bring you this fantastic event with the hotel's restaurant and bar selling food and drinks.

With over 30 Stalls ranging from gifts and homemade crafts to charities some of the stands can expect to see and find across the entrance lobby and in two rooms:
